Resistance Is Futile

You will be shocked to learn that Rebecca MacKinnon, of the Harvard Blogging, Journalism, & Credibility Conference at Harvard's Berkman Center, is...

Alert the media!  It's a good thing Sam is no longer technically a kitten...

[Update: I found some horrible evidence of the MacKinnon cyborg attempting to kitten-nap somebody's precious darling on the internets:

So very sad.]

['nother update: more photographic evidence.  The poor kittens.]

Frightening! Will these Harvard cyborgs stop at nothing?

It's spelled MyKinanon, and it's the Blechman Center.

I've been enjoying your comments immensely on the convention thread, but didn't want to call attention on the thread itself. It's one of those quantum-mechanical things: actively observing on a thread changes its state.

Anyway, I think we should put together our own damned conference. I'd like to suggest the title: "Specious Infotainment. Blogging for Power, Propaganda, and Revenge."

gosh, you sure did link to that horrifying story. what can we do to save the kittens? i am so scared that all the little kittens might get eaten. my cats are grown, but who knows, when all the kittens are gone, she might start on the grown CATS? NTodd, you and the other guys have really made that thread something worth reading!

Thers - no. They are unstoppable, and will not rest until they've eaten all our precious kittens.

alt hip - I've been having fun. God knows the Iggles/Vikes game wasn't fun.

lady - give me a cheap Shiraz and I bring a lot of joy to the world. One might say I'm a blogging ray of sunshine.

Dear NTodd, just finished reading comments over at the Harvard conference site. You and Kent made my day.

p.s. I do love your photography.

NTodd, I followed your thread, too, and I'm with AltHippo. We need our own conference. I suggest we convene at Snapper's at Mile Marker 96 (Ocean Side) in Key Largo as soon as possible. "Blogging: What You Do When You Have Writer's Block." I will be the Designated Driver.

NTodd! I believe that there really is an evil cyborg after your kittens! I know there are because you and I generally agree with each other on ideological matters! KITTENS!!!

MB - good, we need a DD. There's no way I'm attending a blogging conference without a drink in my hand.

jenniebee - I would request that you write your Congress people and ask them to help fight this horrible scourge.
