The Real Bush Agenda

See dKos for the explanation.

ntodd

[Update: I see via Atrios that AMERICAblog has a version, and via AMERICAblog I see suburban nomad has a version similar to mine.  GMTA.  Guess I'll need to come up with another one...]

['nother update: here's a new version that's a bit more germane:

Any other ideas?]

I remember being told once, "Don't get into a fight with pigs. You get dirty and the pigs have fun."

Well, sometimes the pigs are in the house and you've got to fight them!

Get the little Monopoly guy lighting a cigar with a hunski for the right image.

I like the granny one. I think it gets the point across best. The others that have been floating around are humorous, but since this is AARP that is being slimed, the granny one is likely to make the most impact on the target audience. You get my vote for best comeback.

I ain't no graphic artist, but something in a similar vein would be a picture of Ken Lay or some other corporate scumbag on the right, juxtaposed with the granny.

I was reading about three guys discussing gays in the military and one of them wrote something that I found funny; maybe you will, too -- "With respect to gays in the military, I knew several homosexuals in the Army (rear-echelon unit) during my 10 years in the military."

Darryl - I tought it annoyed the pig?

norbiz - excellent idea.

Rhys - yeah, the first one was a quick and dirty snark. Over the top, just like the original ad. I thought about Ken Lay or somebody else, but wasn't sure how identifiable a specific person would be, so I googled for "picture counting money".

Alex - heh. Indeed.

Oh, those are good.

No, that happens if you try to teach the pig to sing.

BTW, NTodd, I got here via a link from Billmon. Yer famous, boy, famous, I tell ya!

Picture #2 is dead on! I never doubted for one minute that Bush is all about the almighty dollar.

Here's one that I came up with and here's three more.

Posted by: "Radical" Russ | Feb 23, 2005 10:50:26 AM

Russ - bravo. I especially like the one with the dude smoking a stogie and the one with the Floyd ref.
