Friday Catblogging

Sam considers leaving the shelter of our deck as the wet snow falls.
I had to get some supplies at the General Store and shot a pic of Lilly the Store Dog for the primitive album, but other than that I'm sticking close to home today, nursing my flu/cold/mono/whatever.

NTodd, I did some Friday Houseblogging for you; a stroll down Memory Lane.

Your primitive series is fun.
Reminds me of a photographer (don't remember her name) who took photos while a passenger on a motorcycle. The blurry results looked like abstract art.
Guess what I'm trying to say is sometimes less is more. Even with the restrictions of a small lens, your artist's eye is evident.
Btw, the dog's paw resting on the bookshelf is charming; a lazy way of guarding something.
Sam contemplating and testing the snow with a delicate paw is very expressive.

MB - sniff!
ellroon - thanks, I've been having fun with it all. Dunno if the primitive project will help me in honing my skills or not, but I've enjoyed the challenge of trying to work with my digital pin-hole camera. Plus it's wicked cool to be able to quickly take a shot no matter where I am.
I'm intrigued by the photographer you mention--need to look her up. Reminds me of a motorcyclist we saw in Minnesota last September. As he was riding along the Gunflint Trail, he periodically would hold up a small digital cam and snap.

You have a great eye for photography. Wish I had that gift. I just point, click and pray for the best. :)
Hope you get to feeling better soon. And, I added you to my blog.... always in need of smart people. :)

Just came across your photos, they are great! Strangely, I have a cat that is identical to Sam. Feel free to email me and I will share. Cheers! Michelle

Thanks for the kind words, you two.
Kat - I'll be adding your blog to the blogroll momentarily.
Michelle - OMG, there's *two* of him? The world just might be in danger... :-)
