Loony
Mom, Dad, and their kids appear to be having a little squabble in the middle of the pond (and just beyond the very edge of my telephoto's limits).
Yup, a crappy picture, but it's posted in Otherblogging all the same. Cairo and I are just so pleased to be in the Northeast Kingdom again after a six month absence, and I wanted to post a celebratory photo. Aside from the loon calls, chittering of swallows, and occassional woodpecker knocking, it's very quiet.
Cairo did a lot of swimming already today, and we had a short hike. After dinner, we watched the rain roll in over the mountain. The solitude is a great salve for our souls.

wanda - at first I read your comment and saw Washington, DC, and had to do a doubletake--didn't think there were any loons, 'cept for the politicians, in that city!
Fremlin - I deleted your multiple troll posts, but left one example of the foul output of your dark, dark soul. I have not yet banned you (again), but I will if you don't wash your keyboard out with soap. Still haven't decided if it's time to forward some of your "work" to your mom. Looks hot in 'bama today--stay cool, little bro.

NTodd, the loons have taken over DC, which is why I lived in the OTHER Washington.
It is hot in Bama today!
